TAMS Miracle Mile

Swim a mile and help find a cure for lung cancer.

Tamalpais Aquatic Master’s

In memory of Jon Steiner

Jon Steiner was a long- time member of Tamalpais Aquatic Masters and active with local and national Masters Swimming committees. Jon lost his battle with lung cancer in 2006. He originated the TAM 1650 “Don’t Waste Your Base” swim in 1996 with just a few participants. Today the event, renamed the Miracle Mile, attracts close to 200 swimmers each year. TAM has donated more than $18,000 to lung cancer research in Jon Steiner's memory.

Help us support GO2 for Lung Cancer by making a contribution to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. The funds we raise will advance GO2 for Lung Cancer's mission to transform survivorship.

GO2 for Lung Cancer relentlessly confronts lung cancer on every front, every day. Founded by patients and survivors, we are dedicated to increasing survival for those at risk, diagnosed and living with lung cancer.

Confronting lung cancer starts here!
