Douglas Edward Waldinger Sr. was born in Paterson, New Jersey on June 18, 1957. Despite a childhood faced with many challenges, Doug went on to have a successful career in business ranging from consulting to the automobile industry. However, his proudest accomplishment was his family. Doug always enjoyed spending time with his wife, Linda, and his three sons, Douglas, Matthew and Jason. Doug also enjoyed giving back to the community through his efforts with the football team of the local high school.

Doug was a tremendous inspiration to his family and friends. Even while dealing with his terminal illness, his main focus was everyone else. There are no words that can adequately express the love and appreciation that we have for Doug. Our goal is one day that someone will not have to experience what Doug and our family went through. We lost a great husband, father and friend far too soon.
