Tribute to Jason Chu
Jason Chu was born in China in 1944, the eldest of 4 siblings. He learned from an early age the virtues of hard work and self-sufficiency. Conflict brought him to Taiwan, where he studied accounting at Soochow University and met his wife and life partner Ming. Ambition brought him to United States, where he pursued, lived and defined the American Dream, building several successful businesses. He enjoyed Music, Tennis, Cars and relaxing by a bustling city cafe with a cup of Cappuccino. Jason liked hearing stories, loved telling them, and earned the deep friendship and respect of those around him. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, two children and three grandchildren, all of whom love him in the truest sense.
Jason had 6 months to live when diagnosed with a cold and unforgiving Lung Cancer. Through the heroic efforts of his doctors and years of cancer research, he shared 3 more amazing and enriching years with his family. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to donate to the GO2 Foundation in appreciation of their work and hope that others may have this treasured gift in memory of Jason.
Partner, Brother, Father, Friend. We miss you dearly and will love you until our heart's last beat.
