ALK Simi Valley (Team Washburn) -GO2 Foundation Walk/Run Fundraising Page
I started on this unexpected journey 3 years ago, with a diagnosis of Stage IV ALK Non Small Cell Lung Cancer. In honor of my survival and cancer anniversary, my wife, Robyn ,and I decided that we would mark this day each year and step out for lung cancer at the annual GO2 for Lung Cancer SoCal Walk/Run and to bring more awareness!
As we continue on this journey we have been so encouraged by the outpouring of support; however, there still is a large need for funding for this disease. The advancement in research is nothing short of miraculous but there is so much more to do and these brilliant scientists, researchers and doctors need our help. Today there is more focus on research and solutions to extend life. One of my goals is to witness those advancements and be a part of helping to find a cure. It will eventually happen with the growing attention Lung Cancer is getting.
The funds we raise will advance GO2's mission to increase survival by improving the lives of those vulnerable, at risk, and diagnosed with lung cancer. Help us support this much-needed effort by making a contribution to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends.
